Is Your "Complaining Habit" Sabotaging Your Dance?

A 7-Day Challenge to Uncover Your Hidden Performance Killer

Let's get real for a moment.

You and I both know the competitive dance floor is a brutal, beautiful, and unforgiving place. Every single time you step on it, you're judged—and you're being judged for every tiny detail.

But what if the most damaging judgment of all… isn't coming from a judge's scorecard?

What if it's coming from you? What if it's coming from the words you say and the thoughts you think, every single day?

I'm talking about the quiet, insidious habit of complaining.

I'm not talking about a major issue here. I'm talking about the daily little things: the studio being too cold, the music not being loud enough, the long drive to practice, the weather outside. You might think it's harmless, but every complaint you utter is a tiny mental poison that drains your energy and pulls you away from the powerful, positive mindset you need to truly thrive on the dance floor.

It's a habit that can become a performance killer, and you might not even realize it.

So, let's change that. I've got a challenge for you.

The 7-Day "No Complaining" Awareness Challenge

For the next seven days, I want you to pay close attention.

For the next seven days, you will pay attention to the time you find yourself complaining. That goes for everywhere in your life, the weather, the other students at the dance studio...

The challenge is to simply catch yourself and take note on what you were complaining about.

After the seven days, we will look for a pattern.

  • Have you complained less since you started?

  • Are you aware that you are always complaining about something, or even the same thing, over and over?

  • Are you a person who lives in the moment, accept things for what they are and move on?

  • Do you find yourself complaining more that you would like?

I'm excited to see what you have all come up with. Feel free to share.
